Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden and Led Zeppelin tributes coming to Albany
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Empire Live in Albany will be sending 2024 off in style by hosting a tribute show celebrating three of the most iconic metal and rock bands of all time: Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, and Led Zeppelin. The concert is scheduled for December 30 at 7 p.m.
The show will be headlined by Zakk Sabbath, led by Zakk Wylde, known best for his time playing guitar alongside Ozzy Osbourne and for fronting heavy metal band Black Label Society. The Black Sabbath tribute group also features Joey Castillo, former drummer of desert rock band Queens of the Stone Age, and Rob "Blasko" Nicholson, bassist for Rob Zombie and Ozzy Osbourne.
Zakk Sabbath will be joined for the performance by The Iron Maidens, the all-women Iron Maiden tribute group, and Zoso, who faithfully perform the music of Led Zeppelin. The concert is a stop on the "King of the Monstours" tour.
Empire Live is located at 93 North Pearl Street. You can buy King of the Monstours tickets online through the Ticketmaster website or in person at the club's box office. Tickets go on sale September 20 at 10 a.m.
