A 22-year-old man from Ghaziabad died after accidentally touching a low-hanging high-tension wire while helping an elderly person who had also been electrocuted. The incident took place near Ganga canal in Masuri. Complaints about the hazardous wire had been ignored by the power department, leading to negligence charges.
