Afghan women cannot pray loudly or recite the Quran publicly among other women as per the Taliban government. This is a new addition to the existing restrictions on women including bans on education after sixth grade, many public spaces, and most jobs. The Vice and Virtue Ministry is conducting a nationwide awareness program about these laws.
