‘I don’t think I’ve ever seen that’ says darts commentator after ‘weirdest checkout ever’ in Modus Super Series
A DARTS commentator was left gobsmacked after witnessing the “weirdest checkout ever.”
The bizarre moment occurred on Thursday in the Modus Super Series.
Anton Ostlund was one leg up in his Group A clash with David Mayle when he proceeded to show off his darts skills.
With 59 on the board, Ostlund checked out with an incredible combo.
First, the ace threw down a T7.
And he completed the move with a stunning D19.
This left the commentator in bits as they reacted to the wild scenes.
They said: “I don’t think I’ve ever seen that!”
While on social media, it was hailed as the “weirdest checkout ever.”
Another fan added: “Typical Modus Super Series finish.”

Elsewhere, there were plenty of laughs in the Players Championship clash between Nathan Aspinall and Michael Smith.
The latter won the third-round Event 29 battle 6-3.
And The Asp left his opponent in stitches by asking the ref if he could leave a finish with a total of 236.
This saw the board man reply: “I can’t tell you that.”
And the blunt answer left Aspinall laughing, with Smith also giggling out loud.
