Police launch investigation into stabbing in Woodside
WOODSIDE, Queens (PIX11) -- A fruit vendor was stabbed multiple times in Woodside Sunday evening, according to sources.
The incident happened around 5:45 p.m. at 59th Street and Roosevelt Avenue.
The victim, a 35-year-old man was involved in a verbal dispute, according to the NYPD. During the dispute, the suspect, a 47-year-old man, stabbed the victim throughout his body.
The victim was taken to a local hospital.
An investigation into the stabbing is ongoing. No arrests were made.
