Fortnite fans excited for Choppas’ return in Chapter 2 Remix as helicopter is added early by mistake

FORTNITE Chapter 2 Remix has started now and players are discovering the changes the throwback season brings to the game.

Chapter 2 Remix launched with an Snoop Dogg and Ice Spice concert streamed in-game, and it restores Fortnite’s map to it’s state from five years ago.

Choppas are returning next week, and we’ve seen one in the Chapter 2 Remix trailer[/caption]

One of the vehicles making a comeback this season is the Choppa, the game’s helicopter which was first introduced in Chapter 2: Season 2.

Yesterday, November 3, 2024, eagle-eyed fans spotted a Choppa on the helipad at the Weather Station point of interest.

The Weather Station POI is located near the lower right corner of the map in Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix. 

Fortnite fans were excited to be able to fly the vehicle again, and many rushed to the spot for a chance to try the Choppa themselves.

Plenty of videos posted on social media showed players finding the Choppa at the Weather Station and flying it around the map.

Many were surprised by the Choppa’s addition, as helicopters are expected to appear later into the season.

Also, the appearance of the Choppa at just one helipad location made it clear to most players that the helicopter wasn’t meant to be there yet, and that it may soon be removed.

A few hours later, players reported that the vehicle had once again disappeared, indicating that it was most certainly added early by mistake.

Choppas were first introduced in the game back in March 2020, during Chapter 2: Season 2.

They have since made several appearances in the game, but have been vaulted since September 2022.

The return of Choppas has been confirmed for Chapter 2 Remix, and they should be coming as early as next week.

We spotted the helicopter in the new season’s announcement trailer, where a Choppa is destroyed at Spaghetti Grotto, Eminem’s location.
