Katharine McPhee just shared the sweetest photo of her, David Foster, and their adorable son Remi. Specifically, she showed a photo of her kissing her son on the lips. Normally, the internet would freak out over this, making some weird debate out of it. But surprisingly, it only has positive vibes under her touching post!
On Nov 3, McPhee shared a rare photo of her, Foster, and Remi to her Instagram. She shared the photo with the caption reading, “my whole world in one photo ???????? #hbd @davidfoster.”
As we said, in the photo, we see McPhee kissing Remi on the lips, and Foster is behind them, looking at the crowd. Like with anything on the internet, we figured this would’ve put parent-shamers up in arms. However, the internet was nothing but supportive, and said the sweetest things under the post.

For those who don’t know, McPhee and Foster got engaged in 2018 after a year of dating. They married a year later, in June 2019, and less than two years later, in Feb 2021, they welcomed their son, Remi.
In a previous interview with E! News, McPhee opened up about her pregnancy and postpartum experience, admitting that she had a “love-hate relationship” with pregnancy and “struggled” with her body changing.
What I didn’t expect was to have the baby and then be so at peace with my body,” she said. “I had this, wow, like this huge appreciation of what my body had just done and given me… I wish that I’d given myself a little bit more of that grace through the pregnancy.”
