The cup was won by rank outsider Knight’s Choice after a photo finish to stun the rest of the field at Flemington Racecourse.
Victorious jockey Robbie Dolan was cheered on by many glamorous fans from the stands.
This included British film actress and model Liz Hurley, who stunned in a white dress.
The Bedazzled star’s dress was embossed with flower patterns and paired with a pair of heels.
She was also joined by her son Damian on another day of the event in which she opted for a yellow dress.
There were also a few stars from Australian reality TV blessing the concourse during race day.
Tayla Broad from the country’s version of Love Island wore a red gown with long black gloves as she strutted up the red carpet.
She also attended the event on November 2 as she wore a chic black outfit.
