Two decades after the release of The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement, we recently learned that a third movie in the beloved Disney franchise is moving forward with Adele Lim directing.
One star has confirmed that they will be retuning to Genovia, the fictional country that Anne Hathaway rules in the franchise. However, talk of a third movie has circulated for years now. In that time, many other cast members have addressed a potential comeback.
Recently, another actor provided an update on what they knew about Princess Diaries 3 and its cast list. Unfortunately, they weren’t sure if they were coming back yet.
Another key player hinted that they might not be involved. However, many other actors expressed interest in returning to Genovia. Some of them haven’t been seen since the first movie back in 2001, and it could set up some excellent drama for the plot if they all came back.
