'Jaws' 50th anniversary celebrated with special screenings on Lake Travis
AUSTIN (KXAN) — Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, a dine-in theater company, is launching its event of the summer called Great Bites. Fans can experience their beloved films in ways they haven't before.
To celebrate creature cinema, Great Bites will kick off the summer-long event by marking the 50th anniversary of Steven Spielberg's iconic movie, Jaws.
For the first time ever, fans can experience the thriller Jaws on the water, as well as first-time screenings of DANGEROUS ANIMAL and a Q&A session with filmmaker Sean Byrne and movie star Hassie Harrison.

Jaws on the Water
- Guests can watch from inner tubes in the water and experience scuba divers and effects for added suspense

Alternatively, viewers can watch the movie on dry land in Alamo Drafthouse locations and experience special themed menus, interactive screenings with props and more.
