8 suspects arraigned for allegedly aiding cop shooting suspect during manhunt
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- Eight people were arraigned in court Friday morning for their alleged involvement in aiding a man accused of shooting two Mifflin Township officers.
All eight suspects accused of helping alleged shooter Daveonte Dixon evade police were arraigned in the Franklin County Municipal Court Friday morning. The eight individuals, Latoya Birdsong, Nathan Brown, Namina Goler, Isaiah Ingle, Elijah Robinson, Grace Mellon, Kaitlyn Mellon, and Au'Nusti Solomon, were charged with obstructing justice.
A range of bond amounts was provided for the suspects. Five out of the eight, Ingle, Brown, K. Mellon, Goler, and Birdsong, all received a $500,000 bond. The judge ruled that Robinson's bond was to be $300,000, and Solomon was given a bond of $100,000.
The last of the eight suspects, G. Mellon, was issued a $700,000 bond. All are expected to return to court for a preliminary hearing on June 27th.
