Columbus Metropolitan Library hosts drawing game show for kids
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- The Columbus Metropolitan Library is making sure kids stay busy and engaged all summer.
On Friday, kids participated in a drawing game show at the library's Driving Park branch. The quick-fire game challenged them to draw different characters.
It's the first event of its kind the library has hosted.
Throughout the next couple of months, there will be hundreds of programs at all of the library's locations.
"During the summer, it's really important to keep kids engaged, keep them coming to the library" said Karen Christensen, youth services manager at the Driving Park branch. "We want to share the excitement of all the great stuff we've got going on."
The next big event is the Columbus book festival on July 12 and July 13 at the main library.
