Vanessa Bryant’s Birthday Tribute to Daughter Capri Has Fans Saying the Same Thing
Vanessa Bryant and her daughter, Capri, are an adorable mother-daughter duo, and Vanessa’s birthday tribute to Capri shows that yet again. Not only that, but the new post also has fans saying the same thing: Capri is her dad, Kobe Bryant’s mini-me!
Earlier this week, Vanessa shared the sweetest photos for Capri’s birthday on her Instagram. She shared the photos with the caption reading, “Capri, we love you so much!!!! Happy 6th birthday to my sweet Koko Bean! ????~ Capri Kobe Bryant ~???? ????????????????????.”

In the photos, we see Capri smiling from ear to ear at both an amusement park and on the beach with her mama.
And yes, fans and friends agree that Koko looks just like Kobe. In fact, former basketball player Matt Barnes commented the top comment, saying, “Looks just like her daddy ❤️.” It got thousands of likes, so clearly everyone is in agreement!
For those who don’t know, Vanessa and her late husband Kobe were married from 2001 til his death in 2020 (when he and their daughter Gianna tragically passed in a helicopter crash).
During their marriage, Vanessa and Kobe welcomed four beautiful daughters named Natalia, born on Jan 2003, Gianna Bryant, born on May 2006 (who sadly passed away in Jan 2020), Bianka Bryant, born on Dec 2016, and Capri Bryant, born on June 2019.
In a super-rare interview with People, Vanessa spoke about her grief and how her daughters help her navigate it day-to-day.
“This pain is unimaginable [but] you just have to get up and push forward. Lying in bed crying isn’t going to change the fact that my family will never be the same again. But getting out of bed and pushing forward is going to make the day better for my girls and for me. So that’s what I do,” she said. “My girls help me smile through the pain. They give me strength. I want to make Kobe, Gigi, Natalia, Bianka, and Capri proud.”
