Signed some good players but generally went for quantity over quality thanks in part to Gold/Sullivan not wanting to be there

My biggest memory of that season is just not being able to defend, we conceded loads and loads of really sloppy goals brought about by individual errors, Ridgewell was a particular culprit, so too Schmitz, Djourou (sp?), Quedrue and Jaidi, the defence just wasn’t good enough and the goalkeepers weren’t great either.
