2007/08 season (6 replies)

Just to take a break from the transfer chaos, thought we’d have a reminisce about a particular season. This one sticks out to me as an interesting season and someone mentioned Forssell’s perfect hat-trick at home to Spurs earlier.

2007/08 - we brought in some good players, had some memorable wins (Spurs x2), Zarate was a lot of fun when McLeish bothered to play him, great kit.

What went wrong? For all those good memories, 35 points represents a poor return.

My memory is some piss poor away performances in April/May. Wigan and Fulham away stick in my mind. And Fulham went on that ridiculous run after being mathematically relegated at half time against City.
