Celebrity Turns Heads During James Gunn Superman Interview
On July 9, James Gunn had a shocking interview experience when his interviewer, Dax Shepard of Airchair Expert, dressed in a full Superman bodysuit. The interview was organized in the wake of the new Superman movie, released July 11, 2025.
Dax Shepard is known for his comedic nature, rich conversations, and deep curiosity, learning all he can from his guests. He set the stage chaotically, leaving James Gunn virtually speechless the moment he saw the outfit.
Through a chorus of remarks made by Dax Shepard and his co-host Monica Padman, James Gunn could be heard saying "Wow.. yeah... jesus... that's pretty cool!" Afterwards, joking that Dax Shepard could be "4-year-old Superman" in a set of "a bunch of giant things." This characterization by Gunn certainly fits the ridiculous attire.

July 2025 marks the one-year anniversary of a new deal with Amazon's Wonderery, which is valued at around $80 million.
