VC. House is a minimal home located in Knokke, Belgium, designed by Simon de Burbure architects. The building’s tripartite composition reads like a geological formation in reverse. Where nature typically places stone at the foundation and lighter materials above, this residence inverts expectation. The substantial stone base anchors the structure to its site, while successive layers of wood, glass, and terracotta tiles create a visual lightness that seems to float above the landscape.
