Perseids, best meteor shower of the year, are about to begin. Expert reveals where and when you can watch them

Meteor showers are a yearly treat and are going to light up the skies again. According to American Meteor Society, the meteor shower occurs annually from about July 17 to Aug. 23, typically peaking in mid-August. Under a dark sky, the Perseids can produce between 50 and 100 meteors per hour, according to NASA.
