The government is gathering inputs from key stakeholders, including Defence and Home ministries, and states, regarding the establishment of the 8th Central Pay Commission. Finance Minister Pankaj Chaudhary informed Parliament that the commission, responsible for revising salaries of central government employees and pensioners, will be formed after notification.
