U.S. retail giant Costco will set up its first Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad, India, to handle technology and research functions. The centre will initially employ 1,000 people and expand over time. GCCs in India have evolved beyond outsourcing, supporting global firms in key operations. India's GCC market is projected to reach $99–$105 billion by 2030.
