Chips Ahoy! Debuts Historic Flavor Combo In Collaboration With Netflix
The final season of Stranger Things isn't here yet—but snacks, inspired by the famous Netflix show, certainly are. Just after Walmart launched new candy based on the series, Chips Ahoy! announced their most upside down partnership yet. The sweets brand is releasing a limited-edition Stranger Things cookie starting on August 11.
The cookie features a chocolate cake base, fudge chips, and a red strawberry-flavored filling, mimicking the famous colors of the show. This new treat is a part of the Chips Ahoy! Chewy line, which offers soft-baked cookies versus the classic version, which tends to be crunchier. The Netflix variety is displayed in 1980s-inspired packaging that lends itself to a spookier design for Halloween (it's even glow-in-the-dark).
This partnership marks the brand's first-ever fruity-filled cookie. The first 1,500 fans can be granted early access to the cookie starting today, July 21, through Chips Ahoy's registered pre-sale. The traditional cookie tray will be available at retailers nationwide, with prices approximating at $6. There will be an additional 2-count pack available for snacking and Halloween distribution.

Chips Ahoy's Senior Director, Sabrina Sierant, describes the product launch as a" cultural moment that joins two beloved brands together in an exciting and captivating way." She continues that "through experiential components and elements of nostalgia, we are delivering unforgettable experiences for different generations of fans—whether they grew up in the 80s or are experiencing that awesome decade through the show."

The packaging will also include a QR code to transport fans into an augmented-reality game that allows viewers to "join the fight against the upside down."
After a three year hiatus since Season 4, the complete trailer for Stranger Things Season 5 just arrived in all of its glory. The series is set to premiere four new episodes on Nov. 26, 2025, with the remaining episodes releasing on Christmas and New Year's Eve.
