Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's NYC campaign office vandalized: NYPD
THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) — Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's Bronx campaign office was smeared with red paint overnight, police said.
Police responded to 1371 Herschell St after a 911 call came in for a report of criminal mischief just before 1 a.m. on Monday. Officers found the front of the office defaced with red paint, officials said.
Video from the scene showed splatters of red paint across the door, walls and sidewalk, with a white sign that read "AOC FUNDS GENOCIDE IN GAZA" written in the same red paint hung on the metal gates.
Police said no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
