India has officially ratified the free trade agreement with the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), submitting the document to Norway. The Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA), set to take effect on October 1, promises India USD 100 billion in investments over 15 years. In return, India will lower or eliminate duties on specific goods from EFTA nations.
