Public transport fares across Ghana will rise by 20 percent effective Friday, August 8, 2025, following a decision by the Ghana Road Transport Operators. The announcement was made in a press release jointly signed by the General Secretary of the Ghana Road Transport Coordinating Council, Emmanuel Ohene-Yeboah, and the Acting National Chai .
