A man accused of killing three women in the Portland, Oregon, area and dumping their bodies has been indicted on a fourth murder charge. Multnomah County District Attorney Nathan Vasquez says a grand jury has indicted Jesse Lee Calhoun on charges of second-degree murder and abuse of a corpse in the November 2022 death of Kristin Smith. The new indictment adds to his case an additional count each of second-degree murder and abuse of a corpse. Calhoun was indicted last year in the deaths of Charity Perry, Bridget Webster and Joanna Speaks. Their bodies were found in 2023. Calhoun pleaded not guilty in the initial indictment. His defense attorney declined to comment.
