The report confirms that the injury is expected to see Maddison miss the majority of the 2025-26 campaign, with the 28-year-old facing a long road back.
It is explained that there were fears as soon as the injury happened that the former Leicester man had snapped his ACL, and those fears have now been realised.
It comes as a brutal blow for the midfielder ahead of what is a World Cup year, and it is the latest in a long line of injuries he has suffered since his switch to North London two years ago.
Following the updates in the media, the news was also confirmed by the club, who revealed that Maddison will now have surgery on his ACL.

It has been widely reported over recent days that signing a number 10 has become a priority for Tottenham after Maddison’s injury.
