An Italian hospital says a 20-year-old Palestinian woman has died after being transferred from Gaza for treatment. The hospital in Pisa said she arrived in a ‘state of severe physical deterioration’ and died after a respiratory crisis led to cardiac arrest. She was airlifted as part of a humanitarian mission and arrived with her mother earlier in the week. Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said almost 120 Palestinians, including patients and their families, have been evacuated to Italy. The United Nations reports that malnutrition in Gaza is at its highest since the war began, with thousands of children affected. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said last month no one in Gaza is starving.
