The INDIA bloc has nominated former Supreme Court judge B. Sudershan Reddy as their vice-presidential candidate, setting up a contest with NDA's C P Radhakrishnan. This decision was finalised at a meeting presided over by Mallikarjun Kharge. Reddy is known for his progressive legal career and commitment to social justice, while Radhakrishnan is a veteran BJP leader.
