In Chhattisgarh's Narayanpur district, eight Naxalites, including two women carrying a cumulative reward of Rs 30 lakh, surrendered to security forces, citing disillusionment with Maoist ideology and inspiration from the police's rehabilitation efforts and the state government's surrender policy. Among them, Sukhlal Jurri and Hurra, carried a reward of Rs 8 lakh each.
