Satish Golcha, a 1992 batch IPS officer, is now the Commissioner of Police, Delhi. The Ministry of Home Affairs issued the order. Golcha was previously Director General (Prisons), Delhi. He replaces S B K Singh. Singh was the acting commissioner. Golcha has held various positions in Delhi Police. He also served as DGP of Arunachal Pradesh.
