Curious dog full of fun and snuggles waiting for loving home
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) - Meet Nacho! He is available for adoption through the Franklin County Dog Shelter and Adoption Center.
Nacho is a 2-year-old pit bull mix who has been with the shelter since March. When he came in as a stray, shelter staff said he was shy and scared. A foster home took Nacho in to help him relax and he has blossomed since then.
Shelter staff describe Nacho as a curious and happy dog who loves to go on adventures. Nacho also enjoys playing with other dogs and would be a good fit for someone who is looking for a playful, snuggly companion for their dog.
During his time at his foster home, Nacho has made a lot of new friends through slow introductions. He enjoys watching bees fly around the flower patch and loves playing with sticks as toys. Nacho is also house-trained but tends to have accidents sometimes when he gets too excited.
He also walks great on leash, enjoys going on runs and sleeps through the night in a crate. He is also very treat-motivated and loves a good pup cup.
Right now, Nacho is doing well staying at an apartment, but would thrive in a home with a big yard and another pup to play with. If you are interested in adopting Nacho, you can email foster@franklincountyohio.gov for additional details or to schedule a meet and greet.
