Boy, 15, fighting for his life after brutal robbery in Queens: NYPD
JAMAICA, Queens (PIX11) – A 15-year-old boy is fighting for his life in a hospital after he was attacked and robbed in Queens on Wednesday, according to the NYPD.
Police said the assault happened near 160th Street and Hillside Avenue around 2:15 p.m.
A group of 13 men allegedly surrounded the victim and started arguing with him, according to authorities. Police said that’s when the group kicked and punched the boy before stabbing him with a knife.
The boy’s $340 sneakers were taken, according to authorities. Police said he was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
The group fled the robbery in an unknown direction, according to authorities. Police described the suspects as follows:
- Suspect No.1: He was last seen wearing a black sweater, black pants and white sneakers.
- Suspect No. 2: He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, black pants and white sneakers.
- Suspect No. 3: He was last seen wearing a black sweater, black pants with black and white sneakers.
- Suspect No. 4: He was last seen wearing a black sweater, black pants and white sneakers.
- Suspect No. 5: He was last seen wearing a black sweater, black pants and black sneakers.
- Suspect No. 6: He was last seen wearing a black sweater, black pants and black sneakers.
- Suspect No. 7: He was last seen wearing a black vest, black sweater, black pants and black sneakers.
- Suspect No. 8: He was last seen wearing a black sweater, black pants and black sneakers.
- Suspect No. 9: He was last seen wearing a black ski mask, black and white striped sweater, dark-colored pants and white sneakers.
- Suspect No. 10: He was last seen wearing a black sweater, black pants, black sneakers and a black face mask.
- Suspect No. 11: He was last seen wearing a black sweater, blue pants, black sneakers and a black face mask.
- Suspect No. 12: He was last seen wearing a multicolored sweater, black pants, black sneakers and a black face mask.
- Suspect No. 13: He was last seen wearing a light-colored sweatsuit, white sneakers and a black ski mask.
