Investigators determined that Teater allegedly threw a dog off a porch during an altercation at a home on Old Trail Road in the town of Mohawk on November 2. Deputies stated that the dog was taken to a local animal hospital by its owner to be treated for two fractures to one of its legs.
According to the MCSO, Teater admitted to intentionally hurting the dog while being interviewed at the sheriff's office on November 4, resulting in her arrest. She was released after being processed and is slated to appear in the Town of Mohawk Court at a later date.
