Prince Harry Reportedly 'Doesn't Love' One Aspect of His Meghan Markle Marriage
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly on different pages when it comes to social media activity.
An insider claims to Page Six that Harry, 41, is growing weary of Meghan’s recent social media post of their children. “He’s very aware of her parading him around,” said the source. “He doesn’t love the social media displays.”
Meghan and Harry are typically very private about their children and avoid showing their faces online but, in recent weeks, Meghan has shared a video of Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, at a pumpkin patch, and enjoying fall activities, and posted an Instagram Story with Harry at a Dodgers game.
Harry is reportedly worried about the optics of these posts and allegedly worries that it’s “not a great look and Fergie-esque,” referencing Sarah Ferguson, the ex-wife of Harry’s disgraced uncle, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor (formerly Prince Andrew). Ferguson’s reputation for cashing in on her royal connection has long-irked the public and Harry, who the source said is “used to being universally loved.”
“The shine has worn off, which is fair at this point in a relationship,” said the source. “But he’s also blown up his life for her.”
The source’s claims come amid reports that Harry is flirting with the idea of moving back to the UK, something that is liable to rock the boat in their marriage. On November 5, Harry penned an essay dedicated to his love of Britain “The banter of the mess, the clubhouse, the pub, the stands – ridiculous as it sounds, these are the things that make us British. I make no apology for it. I love it,” he wrote.
Harry and Meghan moved to the US after stepping back from royal duties in 2020.
