Government Alien Disclosure 'Only a Matter of Time,' Filmmaker Predicts

The director of a new documentary about the alleged extraterrestrial presence on Earth predicted a major government figure will be forced to confirm aliens are among us soon. 

Dan Farah, who is the man behind a movie being released this weekend, told Entertainment Weekly “it’s only a matter of time” before the rest of the world learns what government officials already know. 

His film, Age of Disclosure, will provide the tipping point, he says. 

On Trump's Radar? 

Age of Disclosure is set to hit theaters and Amazon Prime Video on Friday. 

It includes testimony from more than 30 members of the intelligence community, military, and the United States government. 

The group includes big names such as Secretary of State Marco Rubio, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, and Kirsten Gillibrand, the junior Senator from New York. 

“I think it's only a matter of time before the release of this film is followed by a sitting president stepping to the podium and telling the world, 'We're not alone in the universe,’” Farah told EW. 

The movie made its premiere in March at South by Southwest, an event that Farah says got the attention of United States President Donald Trump and other officials.

“I know the movie's on his radar 100%,” Farah said of Trump. “And look, President Trump said on the campaign trail that he intended to declassify what the government knows about this topic.” 

Although Trump has expressed skepticism publicly about the presence of alien life on planet Earth, he has become aware of the basic facts, according to Farah. 

Trump “has his team all over trying to learn everything that he needs to know so we can decide a course of action,” Farah said.

The documentary also notes keeping major government officials — including presidents — in the dark has been part of the effort to keep the alien presence under wraps, suggesting it could include information that is new to Trump and others in his cabinet. 

“For too long, the public has blatantly been lied to, kept in the dark, and misled with a really sophisticated disinformation campaign,” Farah said. “And I think we're now at a tipping point.” 

What to know about the new movie

Of course, discussion of aliens and the potential existence of extraterrestrial life has been around for decades.

It has ramped up in recent years after the publication of a major story in the New York Times about a secret government program studying the phenomena was published in 2017 and release of videos showing unidentified objects around military facilities and activities. 

Two years ago, a former Air Force intelligence officer told Congress the U.S. has recovered “non-human biologics” from crashes over the years, though a Defense Department spokesperson denied it. 

A trailer for Age of Disclosure includes Rubio talking about “repeated instances of something operating in the airspace over restricted nuclear facilities — and it's not ours.”
