Sofia Richie Bares Her Baby Bump in Intimate Bathroom Photos
Sofia Richie Grainge makes pregnancy look easy! The SGR fashion line founder is pregnant with her second baby with husband Elliot Grainge, and she just shared cozy and intimate bare bump photos that look totally relaxing.
“This is month five????,” the model wrote on Instagram. She shared pictures from her bathroom, where she is sprawled out on a little couch by her shower. She looks gorgeous in a black-and-white striped shirt, pulled up to reveal her bare bump, with black pants. She has sunglasses on and one arm over her head and the other propped up on her face in the picture of relaxation.
The last two snaps are close-ups of Richie Grainge, showing off her growing bump. She looks so laidback and chill, but she is probably experiencing low back pain, exhaustion, and other symptoms that many pregnant women have. (Or maybe not — I never looked that good at 5 months pregnant!)
“????,” Paris Hilton commented. Someone else wrote, “you make it look easy! ????”
“Queen we are the same distance into pregnancy with our second babies. Yet, here I am looking like I slugged a 24 pack of bud heavies and just let myself go and you actually look pregnant,” another quipped.
“How do you make pregnancy look so stinking cute ????????????” someone else asked.
Richie Grainge announced her pregnancy last month. She posted a picture of herself wearing an SGR jacket over her bump, writing, “On my way to launch these babies.”
Just because it looks easy, doesn’t mean it is easy. In fact, Richie Grainge had some struggles with her first pregnancy with baby Eloise, 1. “I had a great pregnancy up until about 32 weeks, and I woke up one morning and I texted Dr. A and I was like, ‘Hey, I woke up and I’m really tired today. My back really hurts. I feel a little crampy,’” she told Harper’s Bazaar in Oct. 2024.
“And I really thought it was going to be another one of those, ‘Yeah, babe, that’s pregnancy. You’re going to be fine, but you can come in if you want me to check you’–type situations,” she continued. “And she was like, ‘You know what? Actually, I think you should go see the fetal specialist to monitor to make sure that everything’s okay and then you’ll go home. It’s not a big deal.’ Thank God she said that, because they hooked me up to the monitor and they were like, ‘You’re in active labor.’”
She ended up staying in the hospital for six days. After “begging” to go home, her doctor had her stay on bed rest. “So that’s what I did. Best rest…but contracting. And we induced at 38 weeks. I had a fantastic delivery.”
Afterward, she developed postpartum pre-eclampsia and was on blood pressure medication for several weeks. Talk about a roller coaster of emotions and feelings!
Here’s hoping that her pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum experience go much smoother this time around!
