The Timex x Todd Snyder Watch Release That’s Turning Collectors’ Heads

Just in time for Don Draper’s return to television (streaming) on HBO Max, Timex and Todd Snyder have joined forces to create an automatic dress watch that evokes '60s elegance and simplicity. The new Timex x Todd Snyder Olive Marlin Automatic watch is the latest installment in Todd Snyder’s long-running collab with Timex. Snyder found inspiration in watch brand’s Mad Men-era dress watch, but added his signature “Snyder Olive” to the dial to compliment the clean, round, steel, mid-century profile.

The 38mm stainless-steel case is polished to maximize wrist presence and accented with sharp silver hands and applied indices that pop against the olive sunray dial. The time-only piece is capped with a period-correct, lightweight, warm-tone, acrylic crystal that can be polished to remove scuffs. The result is a “less is more” statement that’s versatile enough to slide under a perfectly starched shirt cuff or flash a little finesse on the weekend.

The Olive Marlin Automatic comes on a glossy brown leather strap with a crocodile grain and a quick release system. So those who want to personalize the wearing experience can find a multitude of options to fit 18mm lug width and find their perfect style. Inside, the Marlin is powered by a 21-jewel automatic Miyota movement, which is visible through a see-through caseback etched with both the Timex and Todd Snyder brand names.
