Jason Kelce is sharing his thoughts on Travis Kelce‘s potential retirement.
The 38-year-old former NFL player spoke to ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt during this week’s Monday Night Countdown, revealing that he still doesn’t know what his brother plans to do.

“I’m curious, too. In my opinion, to nail that decision, you have to step away from the game for a little bit. Play these last three games, enjoy them with your teammates, enjoy them with your coaches. The team’s going to be different no matter whether you come back or not next year,” said the New Heights podcast host.
Jason is speaking from experience, having played for the Philadelphia Eagles for 13 years before retiring at the end of the 2023 season.

The Kansas City Chiefs are winding down a challenging season, with Patrick Mahomes suffering a torn ACL injury and the team no longer in playoff contention after losing to the Los Angeles Chargers.
“They’ve been close, and right now it’s just too fresh,” Jason continued. “You gotta step away from it, you gotta think about it, and then, yeah, it will come to you.”
Just last month, Travis said that he’s not ready to make any decisions regarding retirement.
