Latehar police arrested 66 miscreants in 2025 as part of a major offensive against organized crime, seizing numerous weapons including an Austrian Glock pistol linked to Pakistan. Two prominent gangsters, Rahul Dubey and Rahul Singh, have formed their own gangs after the encounter of their former associate Aman Sahu, with Dubey's gang being considered more formidable.
