A 15-year-old boy, Aditya Paswan, tragically drowned in the Maithon dam waters on Saturday evening while on a picnic with about 30 students. Local boatmen retrieved his body, and he was declared brought dead at a hospital. Police are investigating the unclear circumstances surrounding the drowning.
