However, this does not end up here. Masood also surpasses Indian star Virender Sehwag’s achievement, who scored 200 runs off 182 balls during the 2006 Lahore Test.

This is the second double century for Masood this year. Two months ago, he scored 250 runs against Abbottabad while playing for Karachi Blues. The left-handed batsman has now scored five double centuries in first-class cricket.

Masood has had a fantastic year in List A cricket, scoring 1564 runs in 25 innings at an average of 71.1. In Test cricket, he has scored 397 runs in 10 innings at an average of 39.70, including one century and five half-centuries.
