A police officer in charge of Hansdiha station, Tarachand, has been suspended after allegedly assaulting a journalist. The incident occurred when the journalist inquired about traffic congestion. Following an inquiry, the Dumka SP ordered the suspension and a departmental probe. Journalists protested, demanding further action against the officer.
