I never thought he was Guardiola. But I just cannot stand this mentality where during every bad patch the ONLY solution some people can come up with is "Sack the manager, purchase players". Do I like the current run of form? Of course not, but when you read through this forum it is abysmal how some of y'all seem to revel in defeats just so you can tell every one about how you knew it all from the start.
I think everyone is aware that the longer the current form runs, the less likely CD stays the manager, and yet the CONSTANT doom-mongering is just annoying. Yes, it doesn't look great currently but I still maintain that we are not really in danger of going down. The bigger picture just is so completely different from two years ago.
The way I see it, we are in a situation where we have a lot of actually good puzzle pieces that seemingly don't quite fit yet. And you don't solve a puzzle by kicking it over every five minutes. And if you need to call me a 'happy clapper' for that opinion: fine. I just like to have a positive outlook at things in general because the world we live in currently is shit, and if I had the same miserable attitude towards life as some here, I could just off myself. And I sincerely hope that we can all agree that no one wants that.
In the end, and I don't say it lightly, this is just football.
