NANAIMO CLIPPERS ACQUIRE 2007 FORWARD CADEN OKOVITA
NANAIMO, B.C. — The Nanaimo Clippers have acquired Caden Okovita, a 2007-born right-shot forward from Toronto, Ontario. Okovita joins the Clippers from the Sioux City Musketeers of the United States Hockey League (USHL).
“Caden is a skilled young forward with strong offensive instincts,” said Clippers Head Coach Colin Birkas. “He skates well, competes hard, and has the tools to make an impact at this level right away.”
Okovita will bring energy, pace, and offensive creativity to the Clippers lineup. His combination of speed and compete level makes him a dynamic addition capable of contributing in all situations.
Caden joined the team on New Years Day, in time to join the team as they travel to Cranbrook to take on the Bucks in an out of conference game.
The Clippers would like to welcome Caden and his family to the organization and the Nanaimo community.
