Elle Fanning Reveals If She Wants to Have Kids Someday
Elle Fanning is kicking off the new year on the red carpet!
The 27-year-old actress stepped out for the 2026 Palm Springs International Film Festival Film Awards held on Saturday night (January 3) at Palm Springs Convention Center in Palm Springs, Calif.
She was joined by co-stars Renate Reinsve, Stellan Skarsgard and Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas, and director Joachim Trier, as their film Sentimental Value is being honored with the International Star Award.
At the movie’s premiere back in November, Elle opened up about if children were in her future.

Elle told People that she “definitely” wants to have kids.
She also touched on how working on Sentimental Value taught her about navigating her real life family dynamics.
“It’s kind of the beauty of this film, the universal themes that people are relating to, and it is about this family that is broken and the traumas that are passed down through families that sometimes you don’t realize, but we all have them,” she said. “There’s a kind of healing power of art. I don’t know if something can be completely healed all the way.”
“It doesn’t tie everything up into a perfect bow,” Elle added. “But it maybe will open the door for understanding and forgiveness, and so that’s the beauty of it for me.”
