Warriors sweatshirt is a slam dunk for Campbell blood donors
Courting donors
Following the holiday season, there is often a significant dip in blood donations due to travel, seasonal illnesses, and busy schedules, which can leave supplies dangerously low.
To encourage more people to donate, Stanford Blood Center is partnering with the Golden State Warriors during National Blood Donor Month. Throughout January, blood donors at all Stanford Blood Centers, including the South Bay Donor Center in Campbell, will receive a free Warriors sweatshirt as a thank-you gift.
Appointments can be made online at stanfordbloodcenter.org or by calling 888-723-7831 or texting to 999-777. Walk-ins are always welcome.
Donors should be in good health with no cold, flu, or COVID-19 symptoms, and must be at least 17 years old, or 16 with a parent or guardian’s consent.
