Anthony Joshua's 3-Word Tribute After Fatal Car Crash
Anthony Joshua is speaking out after two of his closest friends died in a fatal car crashed that also inured and hospitalized the former heavyweight champion of the world.
The 36-year-old Nigerian-British boxer took to Instagram on Sunday and posted a group photo with his mom and three other women, presumably relatives, as they sat on a couch.
One woman held a photo of Sina Ghami, a close friend of Joshua's and strength coach, who died in the tragic accident. Joshua captioned the photo, "My Brother's Keeper."
Latif "Latz" Ayodele, a close friend and Joshua's personal trainer, also died in the crash. Funerals for the two men were held on Sunday.

Driver Has Been Charged
According to multiple reports, police in Nigeria charged Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode, 46, on Friday with four counts: driving causing death, reckless and negligent driving, driving without due care and attention causing bodily harm and damage to property, and driving without a valid national driver's license.
Reports say Joshua was a passenger in the back seat of a black Lexus SUV, which lost control and crashed into a stationary truck while traveling on a road in Lagos, which, by many accounts, is considered one of the country's deadliest roads.

Following the crash, Joshua, who was in town visiting family ahead of the New Year, was taken to a nearby hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.
“He was seated in the rear of the vehicle, sustained minor injuries, and is receiving medical attention. Tragically, two other passengers in the vehicle lost their lives at the scene,” police told ESPN at the time.
The deadly crash came 10 days after Joshua knocked out Jake Paul in Miami. The knockout resulted in the YouTube star’s jaw broken in two places.
