(AUDIO) Trump Says US Troops Injured in Venezuela are “All in Good Shape” – “Don’t Ask Me Who’s in Charge. It’ll be Very Controversial… WE’RE IN CHARGE”
President Trump spoke to reporters on board Air Force One en route to Washington, DC, from Palm Beach, Florida, on Sunday, and discussed his plans for Venezuela now that the United States has arrested narcotrafficking tyrant Nicolas Maduro.
Trump on Saturday sent the military into Venezuela guns a blazing, and Maduro is now in a New York prison after a roughly two-hour-long operation to capture him. No American military members were killed in the daring, middle-of-the-night operation.
After Maduro’s arrest in Caracas, Trump posted the following video of the strikes, which targeted at least four sites around Caracas, Venezuela. No US troops were killed in the operation.

Maduro is now being held at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center, and he is expected to make his first court appearance on Monday.
After he was ripped out of his home by US troops and held prisoner on the USS Iwo Jima, Maduro arrived in New York on Saturday evening. No US troops were killed in the operation, but there were several injuries.
Maduro was indicted in the Southern District of New York on charges of Narco-Terrorism Conspiracy, Cocaine Importation Conspiracy, Possession of Machineguns and Destructive Devices, and Conspiracy to Possess Machineguns and Destructive Devices against the United States, the Gateway Pundit reported.
Trump on Sunday told reporters that the injured troops are “all in good shape.”
“It was amazing that we had a few injured, but all are in good shape right now, but I knew there was great danger,” Trump said, commending the servicemembers’ “amazing talent,” tremendous patriotism,” and “bravery.” He continued, “They got off the helicopter, and the bullets were flying all over the place. As you know, one of the helicopters got hit pretty badly, but that we got everything back, got everything back and nobody killed.”
When asked who is in charge of Venezuela, Trump told reporters, “Don’t ask me who’s in charge, because I’ll give you an answer, and it’ll be very controversial.” He then declared, “We’re in charge.”
Trump further explained that oil companies are going to invest a lot of money and fix Venezuela’s infrastructure. “We’re not going to invest anything. We’re going to just take care of the country. We’re going to cherish the country. We’re going to take care, more importantly, of the people, including Venezuelans, that are living in our country, that were forced to leave their country, and they’re going to be taken very good care of,” Trump added.
“They want to go in so badly,” he said of oil companies.
