General Football forum • Re: VAR and is there a way to fix it?
Exactly!I've always felt the VAR should get one look at an offside and if it is too tight to immediately tell then just go with the on-field decision
The wording they used at the start and continue to use now, it will only be used for clear and obvious mistakes.
If you can't tell by looking at clip with the naked eye that the official has made an error, then it's not clear and obvious.
If you have to draw lines on the pitch or use technology then it's not a clear and obvious mistake.
Let's be honest it's gone the way a lot of us thought it would, they wouldn't be able to stop themselves getting involved in everything.
It's been an abomination not helped by appalling officials who weekly embarrass themselves
