Frameworks Racing / TRP Wraps Pre-Season Camp in SoCal

The Frameworks Racing/TRP team just finished up a solid week of pre-season riding and testing in Southern California, and honestly, the timing couldn't have been better.

After some rain the week before, the trails were in absolutely prime shape. The tacky dirt and clear skies made for some seriously good riding. The conditions allowed the team to maximize every session, whether they were putting in hard training laps or working through detailed equipment testing with the Fox crew. When conditions like this show up in January, teams don't take it for granted.

Fox Suspension Dialed In

The Fox suspension team spent multiple days with them, working one-on-one with each rider to get their setups dialed. Compression, rebound, air pressure, and closely guarded prototype Fox 40's. Everything was tailored to each rider's riding style and preferences. This kind of detailed suspension tuning makes a huge difference when racing at the highest level, and right now is when most World Cup teams are putting in this groundwork for the season ahead. Getting that baseline established early means riders can focus on performance rather than constantly chasing setup issues once racing starts. But we all know that still happens.

Beyond just turning wrenches and riding, the week was all about bringing the team together. The atmosphere throughout camp was dialed—everyone from riders to mechanics to management was fully locked in and working toward the same goal. That kind of team cohesion doesn't just happen; it takes intentional time together off the race circuit.

After all the testing, Asa Vermette heads into Hardline Tasmania next weekend with confidence. Suspension's dialed, fitness is there, and the team chemistry is strong. The Tasmanian course is going to be a proper test of everything worked on during the week, but that's exactly what the off-season is for.
